Blitzkriegbliss

Blitzkriegbliss is a hard rock (self described as post-punk no/new wave female-fronted rock) band formed in Boston in the early 2000s. They are known for their superb live performances and for creating music that does not wear its influences on its sleeve. The name is a compound of Blitzkrieg (German for "lightning war") and bliss and is therefore at least somewhat of an oxymoron.
