James Rondeau

James Rondeau (born 21 October 1955) is an American new wave musician and singer-songwriter. Rondeau’s first release, "Heart To Heart" became a hit in 1978. This was followed by a number of new wave singles and had a Top 10 hit in 1980 with "Steppin' Out".

A mix of energetic new wave rock and bitter British punk it mined a similar vein to then contemporaries Elvis Costello, Squeeze, XTC and Graham Parker.
